Traffic Management Finland joins the TRA2020 conference to boost the Finnish traffic market

Traffic Management Finland will participate in the Transport Research Arena TRA2020 conference, which will be held in Helsinki in April, bringing international experts in transport and mobility to the city. As many as 3,000 visitors are expected to take part in the event.

TRA2020 will present the latest innovations and research results in transport and mobility. It is a strategic venue for discussions and meetings, where researchers, decision-makers and businesses in transport and mobility get together to exchange views on the European transport sector and research. This year, the conference theme is Rethinking transport – towards clean and inclusive mobility.

“TRA2020 offers a unique opportunity to showcase Finnish transport expertise, innovations and development prospects. It offers Traffic Management Finland a great opportunity to talk about our efforts to promote safe, smooth and environmentally friendly transport,” says Mikko Saariaho, Chief Impact Officer at Traffic Management Finland.

This year’s event will focus especially on safety, digitalisation, automated mobility and the environment.

“Countries all around the world are competing to find different ways of using smart traffic and traffic data to promote sustainable transport. We provide traffic data that helps Finnish and international companies create new transport and mobility services for people and goods in Finland. We are actively looking for new partners to make use of this open data. As a promoter of sustainable transport, we appreciate being a sponsor of the event and exhibiting Finnish competence and singularity while also advancing the company’s business and strategy,” Saariaho summarises.
